Today, 3rd March, it’s World Hearing Day. This year’s theme builds upon the 2024 focus on CHANGING MINDSETS towards ear and hearing care.
By encouraging individuals to recognise the importance of ear and hearing health, this World Health Organisation campaign aims to inspire people of all ages to change their behaviour to protect their hearing from loud sounds and prevent hearing loss, to check their hearing regularly, use hearing devices if needed, and support those living with hearing loss.
As the WHO states; “Empowered individuals can drive change within themselves and in society at large.” And we agree.
