Every year we celebrate Deaf Awareness Week by throwing open our doors, setting up a gazebo outside Wellington House on the lawn and invite some guests to join us.
Over the years we have welcomed Hertfordshire Hearing Advisory Service, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, Heart Radio, Lip Reading teachers, Hearing Therapists and even some of our patients who act as mentors for new clients.
The friends of HHP is an extensive group and we thank all of you who have helped in the past.
This year we aren’t holding an event outside – which given the weather is probably wise – but our doors are still open for free advice during Deaf Awareness Week 2012.
