Everyone at Hearing Healthcare Practice would like to wish you a safe and peaceful Easter and Passover.
It didn’t feel right sending out a personal message any earlier when we know many of you are struggling to come to terms with the devastating situation, we’re all living through. It has taken the last few weeks to process how our everyday lives have changed and our thoughts are with all of you who have been touched by Covid-19 in some way. Our gratitude goes out to all our audiology and ENT colleagues in the NHS who have been redeployed to support the national effort along with everyone in the NHS and the wider community.
As a community audiology practice we are an essential service, so we have been tasked with reorganising how we operate to provide as close to the same experience dealing with us remotely, as in person. For us, not being able to provide an understanding smile, a comforting arm around the shoulder or a welcoming chat and coffee, has taken away that personal touch we are known for.
Although we have closed our doors temporarily to visitors, Robert & Ali Beiny, are ever present helping those of you that need anything in any way we can. Our team are all thankfully well at home staying safe and keeping out harm’s way.
We would like to thank those of you that have been in touch so far. We have helped many of you already who have been able to make use of our kerbside drop off / pick up service through prior telephone/email arrangement. We are able to clean, check and sterilise hearing technology and carry out minor repairs within an hour or so, in most cases. We have ample supplies of batteries, wax filters and other cleaning products which can be collected or mailed to you.
We can now offer a remote video consultation service and we’ll be happy to set this up with you using the most common channels (Zoom, Facetime, WhatsApp, Skype, Messenger). For those fortunate enough to have our latest hearing treatment systems and a smartphone, we can now connect to your hearing aids and adjust them remotely.
Please don’t struggle unnecessarily, call us at any time and we can be here to help as much as we can. If you’re isolated at home with no one to talk to, everyone at the practice is here for you. Let us know if you’d like to chat to someone and one of us will call you back. We’re also trying to reach out to as many of you as we can to check up on you and make sure you’re well.
Our practice means far more to us than just a place of work and so it’s been exceptionally warming to have so many of you reach out to us with words of support and thanks.
Stay safe and we can’t wait to see you all back in our practice soon.
Love from us all at The Hearing Healthcare Practice
