Covid-19 Update 4 – 3.4.20 – still providing support

Despite the Coronavirus lockdown, this week we have provided support and help to grateful clients from far and wide.

The furthest was with a gentleman in Nepal who is coming to the UK and wants to know how to reach the Practice when he is eventually allowed to travel and our freedom of movement has been lifted.

Closer to home two of those we helped were Tony and Steve. Tony has been in hospital for emergency dental treatment and his hearing aids were damaged. Steve was having a problem and needed his hearing aids adjusted. They both took the opportunity to drop off their hearing aids using our kerbside service. They waited in the car whilst the issues were attended to. They were able to collect them after 15 minutes, drive off happy and hearing well.

We’ve provided remote support for Irina and Stan. Due to the marvels of technology, we were able to connect to their hearing aids through the internet and adjust at a distance!

We’ve provided support for others who needed batteries, spares and general consumables.  Several people contacted us as their usual audiologists were closed. Others were NHS patients who have been unable to access their usual service as the department has closed in their local hospital due to the coronavirus lockdown. If we can help, we are happy to do so for you.

It’s taking time to deal with all these enquiries, so it is taking us a little longer than usual sometimes to be able to speak with clients. Please bear with us. Leave a message on our phone or feel free to email us and we’ll respond as soon as we can.

Take care and stay safe.

Please note we will NOT be in the practice on Monday 6th April.
